Do you wash your hands before using the Remote Control for the TV in your bedroom each morning?

We must have different habits.


The t.v. in the bedroom is turned on at night.


I drift off into sleepy land with it on.


The t.v. in the living room is on in the morning so I can have my coffee and see what the rest of the world has been up to.


And yes, my hands have been washed.Do you wash your hands before using the Remote Control for the TV in your bedroom each morning?
Hi Alana i'm an auld Scots tinker that's never had a wash in years and smells to high heaven ( only joking :o) ) I am very particular about my hygiene and forever washing my hands don't watch TV until 5pm but at least my hands are clean for breakfast after a shower and shave the remote gets wiped with a dettol wipe every day which kills 99.5% of germs well at least that's what the package says .Do you wash your hands before using the Remote Control for the TV in your bedroom each morning?
I do, Alana. I usually wake up, go to the loo, then after I wash my hands, I go turn on the telly to see what the days weather is going to be like. I always wash my hands after using the loo, so I would say that means I wash my hands before using the remote.
Oh yeah, because we all wake up, immediately wash our hands, then put on the tv. WTF? Is this supposed to be like..innuendo? Because it's not funny or clever and doesn't make sense.


No one even washes their hands before using a remote, ever. Unless they just spilled something, and even then.
