Should control of American ports be in American hands?

Yes I believe that stronglyShould control of American ports be in American hands?
Even after P%26amp;O is sold to DPW, control of American ports will still be in American hands. Security at American ports will still be in American hands. Americans will still be working at American ports. The DHS - via the USCG - will still have the authority and means to step in and control everything that goes on in any American seaport if they deem it necessary.

The only thing that will change as a result of the sale of P%26amp;O is the ownership of P%26amp;O, ergo who profits from the deal. Dubai and the UAE have proven themselves to be reliable allies in the fight against terrorism, so why else shouldn't this deal be allowed to proceed?

Shutting Muslims out of the US business community for no good reason will only serve to alienate them and hinder our efforts to fight terrorism.Should control of American ports be in American hands?
the control of american ports is in american hands the ownership is in other hands
Of course American ports should be in American hands. I believe that ownership should be as well.

Why the hell does Bush and his administration think that this is a remotely good idea. Haven't they been paying attention to what's going on in the world around them.

Terrorist groups are constantly trying to infiltrate American borders and allowing the ports to be controlled by an Arab company, even if it is ';An ally in the War on Terror'; is simply one of the worst ideas that an American President or his administration has ever had.

I didn't think it was possible for me to doubt the president anymore after his lack of leadership and decision making last year, I'm sad to say that he has proved me wrong.
It seems unfortunately, They are selling off American Property and rights to the highest bidder.

I have great respect for my southern neighbours (Yes I'm Canadian) But Your government does some things that completely and utterly baffle me.

They say they want to secure all points of entry into the country, then sell off Ports? Yes they did get a promise of future cooperation from the UNited Arab Emirates, but what says they will do anything later?
