Anyone know how to control dishyrotic eczema on the hands and feet?

I MEAN STOP THE BUBBLING FLAIR UPS?

IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY.Anyone know how to control dishyrotic eczema on the hands and feet?
I suggest that you can do all of what has been recommended as long as it isn't going to be harmful to you (Which i know you will be able to distinguish).

I also recommend that you drink more green tea, and eat Chinese apples and/or take green tea %26amp; Pomgrenate tablets/capsules. Stay away from all dairy products. Unless it is organic. Only eat meat that doesn't contain any type of hormones. Don't use anything with teflon. If you have a microwave don't use it. if it is used stay away from it. Eat only organic fruits and vegetables. Try this for at least 3 weeks.Anyone know how to control dishyrotic eczema on the hands and feet?

Hi there!

Firstly, do not worry too much. Stress and anxiety only make skin conditions worse. So, relax a bit.

Pompholyx is another name of dyshidrotic eczema, meaning ';bubbles';. Unfortunately, cause is not known.

Have you tried over the counter skin creams recommended by your local pharmacists? If so and if they don't work, go to your doctor. This will give you proper perspective on how to take care of it. It's not so bad, you see. Fortunately, there are drugs that work!

Usually, for sudden flare ups, stronger creams and/or tablets are prescribed by the doctor. These medications work like miracle. Normally, you CANNOT take these medications continuously and should be only taken as directed by the doctor lest be in risk of skin thinning and weaker immunity to infections. Some doctors also use immunity boosting drugs, but I'd say it's not a first line option.

When you have an attack, DO NOT scratch the surface no matter what. This is to avoid infection and scars and delayed healing time.

Use anti-pruritic (anti-itching) substances recommended by your pharmacist, calamine for instance. Try to take vitamin C regularly and ask your pharmacist about fish oils.

Hope this helps.
Try '; Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion'; It comes in a white bottle with a gold pump. It has worked wonders for me. You can buy it at Wal Mart under 10 bucks !!!!!
Soak the hands in cold water and Domeboro powder (found in the first aid section) to help get rid of the 'blisters' and help prevent infection. You may need a steroid cream to get it under control. Neutrogena Hand cream is excellent preventative. It holds moisture great and forms a protective seal. Hope it helps.
When I had eczema I went to my doctor and he prescribed me a steroid cream called ';dermovate';. It stops the rashes and hives like magic. But it is a prescription cream and you can only get it from a doctor, not a pharmacy.
