If hand is part of ball, & it gets hit, is there any control over how hard it it or is it ref discretion?

Doesn't matter how hard as long as the hand is in contact with the ball. Wrist upwards and it is a foul.If hand is part of ball, %26amp; it gets hit, is there any control over how hard it it or is it ref discretion?
wat?????? can u type that a little clearlyIf hand is part of ball, %26amp; it gets hit, is there any control over how hard it it or is it ref discretion?
Say you're trying to steal the ball, the guys hand is on top of the ball. if you hit down on it, it shouldn't be a foul. no matter how hard. some refs probably would call a foul if it was extremely hard, but it still shouldn't be a foul. Because the hand is on top of the ball its considered part of the ball. Now arms, wrists, elbows, etc it is a foul.
